DESCRIPTION

On HP ProLiant Gen9-series servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 with the HP System Health Application and Command Line Utilities (hp-health) Version 10.0.0, when the thermal degraded action is set in shutdown mode through System Management Homepage (SMH) and the minimal required fan is removed, the server reboot takes five to six minutes instead of the expected 60 seconds.

SCOPE

Any HP ProLiant Gen9-series server running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 with the hp-health Version 10.0.0 when the thermal degraded action is set in shutdown mode through SMH and the minimal required fan is removed.

RESOLUTION

This is targeted to be resolved in a future version of the hp-health.
